Launch of the project “Welcome to our Home, Welcome to your Home”
The CJEP launched a new flagship project entitled “Welcome to our Home, Welcome to your Home.” Rolled out at the end of 2025, this initiative aims to raise awareness among regional businesses, institutions, and organizations about immigration-related issues, while fostering the harmonious and sustainable integration of newcomers.
This project reflects a clear vision: to make the Pontiac a welcoming, dynamic, and open territory where everyone can thrive and actively contribute to community development.
Launch of the I Take My Place program
The CJEP launched the I Take My Place program in collaboration with the Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada, as part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy. Designed for youth aged 15 to 30, the program supports skills development, strengthens autonomy, and promotes lasting integration into the labour market through personalized support and hands-on professional experience. With its structured and human-centred approach, I Take My Place equips participants to achieve stable and meaningful integration into both professional life and the community.
A renewed digital presence to better connect with the community
Over the past year, the CJEP strengthened its digital presence to better reach young adults and modernize its image. This included the launch of a TikTok account featuring informative, engaging, and accessible content, as well as a complete redesign of its website, now more modern, clear, and user-friendly. These initiatives aim to improve access to information, showcase available services, and strengthen connections with the community, in line with current labour market and communications realities.
