News
Campbell’s Bay, March 20, 2020 – The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac (CJEP) has a role to play in the community, a role of information, accompaniment and intervention. Its doors and telephone lines are therefore open to anyone, young or old, who needs support or accompaniment, including, but not limited to, finding information on government measures related to VIDOC-19.
The CJEP team is aware that the current situation can create a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. Many people are also dealing with a loss of employment or income, while some companies may be looking for workers.
This is why our team is mobilized to offer employability services, active listening and support to the entire population, regardless of age. We also gather information about the measures available for workers and their families and transmit it via our Facebook page and on www.cjepontiac.ca.
We have put in place increased hygiene measures to protect you. Every workspace is regularly disinfected and employees are required to wash their hands before and after each meeting. The staff on site is minimal, and can travel to meet you as needed. Each person entering the CJEP is required to wash their hands according to the guidelines in effect. Group activities are prohibited. We ask people who have recently travelled or those with flu or cold-like symptoms not to show up, but rather to contact us by phone or email.
Your Carrefour is there for you!
