My experience at Sortir du Bois was wonderful. I learned a great deal, met new people, and benefited from professional integration support services, such as transportation for obtaining a driver’s license or workshops on finding an apartment. I highly recommend this experience to anyone starting their career, returning to work, or who is between jobs.

The workshops offered by the CJEP complement very well the subjects I teach in high school. Mélissa and Émilie are very successful at sparking the interest of young people and easily gaining their participation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my exploratory visit to Pontiac and its hospital. I particularly appreciated the personalized and professional service I received. A big thank you to Karim and his team at the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac.

As a teacher, I recently had the privilege of participating in a series of mental health workshops specifically designed for students in grades 7 and 8. These workshops were a great success in equipping our students with essential skills and knowledge to manage their mental well-being.

The workshops covered topics such as understanding emotions, coping strategies for stress and anxiety, and promoting positive social media use. Melissa utilized engaging activities, discussions, and multimedia resources to make the sessions interactive and accessible to students.

One of the most rewarding aspects of these workshops was seeing students actively participate and open up about their mental health experiences and concerns. These workshops created a safe space where they could share, learn, and support each other.

As a teacher, it was inspiring to witness the positive impact of these workshops on our students. I sincerely believe that these workshops have contributed to promoting a culture of mental well-being within our school community.

I am a teacher at ESSC and I collaborate with Carrefour to organize their in-class workshops. These workshops are essential for our students’ development. These courses focus on social and societal skills, areas where many of our students need guidance. With all the social media applications and our growing need to stay connected, these courses help students navigate these potentially dangerous areas of the online world. I thoroughly enjoyed my exploratory stay in the region with the Place aux jeunes program. Lisa is a dynamic, attentive, and observant person, always attuned to everyone’s needs. She took great care of us, planned the stay well, and I greatly enjoyed her company. She knows her region very well and has a strong sense of human connection. It was truly wonderful.

Lisa is exceptional at what she does. She is truly in her element, and one can feel that she deeply loves what she does.

The exploratory stay truly helped me discover and meet the resources available in the region, and also to experience the local atmosphere to see if I would feel at home there as part of a potential relocation. This experience truly enlightened me, and I feel immense gratitude for having been able to live it. It was extraordinary.
