The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac (CJEP) announces the development of a new key skills training project, carried out in collaboration with Convergence.

This project aims to equip our team of advisors to better support young people and adults in their social and professional integration journey.

In a constantly evolving job market, key skills such as communication, collaboration, autonomy, adaptability, and soft skills play an essential role in the success of employment and personal development initiatives. By strengthening these skills within our team, we aim to offer even more relevant, concrete, and adapted support to the realities of our clientele.

Specifically, this project will enable our team to:

  • better understand and integrate transversal skills into their support;
  • adapt interventions to the current needs of the job market;
  • more effectively support the development of autonomy and employability;
  • enrich the tools used in individual meetings and workshops.

This training framework will become a common basis for the entire team and will directly contribute to improving the quality of services offered by the CJEP.

Message from the Executive Director

“By developing our team’s skills, we strengthen our ability to offer quality support and concretely assist individuals in their endeavors. It is also a way to better support them in achieving their personal and professional goals.”

– Jessica Kelly

The CJEP is proud of this initiative led with Convergence and looks forward to directly benefiting its clientele through even stronger and more adapted support.
