Bilingual Transition Support Worker
Description
The mission of Maison Bernadette McCann (MBM) is to work for change to end violence by offering safety, support, and education to all individuals experiencing violence. Our services include an emergency residential program for women and children, community support, legal support, services for children and youth, as well as groups and workshops.
We are currently recruiting a Bilingual Transition Support Worker. This is a permanent, 30-hour-per-week position, employed by Maison Bernadette McCann. Funding for this position is generously provided through a formal agreement with the Ottawa East Community Resource Centre.
Reporting to the Outreach Service Supervisor, this position provides support and services to women and their dependents who have experienced violence, including survivors of human trafficking, to enable them to access safe and stable housing, as well as relevant support services such as legal support.
