Winning Companies Supporting Educational Success in Pontiac.

The Employers Engaged for Educational Success movement aims to raise awareness among youth, parents, employers, and stakeholders about the importance of academic perseverance and their role in the educational success of the next generation in Pontiac. The movement encourages employers to play an active role in educational success by providing them with advice and support to equip them in managing young student and intern labor.

This initiative stems from a common desire of regional coordination bodies (IRC) on academic perseverance and educational success in Quebec to support the fight against school dropout rates in Quebec territories.

In this period of labor shortage, the Pontiac Youth Employment Center and its partners support this cause to ensure the socio-professional fulfillment of as many individuals as possible and to strengthen the development of a competent and qualified workforce in Pontiac.

All employers can act for educational success.

An eligible employer is defined as an organization that:

  • Has a team member with a study project;
  • Values learning and continuous training;
  • Wishes to hire a student, regardless of their level of education;
  • Wishes to host an intern;
  • Wishes to support regional projects in academic perseverance.
