Services

The Place aux jeunes agent promotes the migration, settlement and retention of young graduates, aged 18 to 35, in the MRC Pontiac.

• Exploratory stays (face-to-face or virtual activities to discover the region and meet potential employers)
• Individual support (finding employment and housing, visiting the environment and services, networking activities)

Eligibility

To receive the services of Place aux jeunes, individuals must have;

• From 18 to 35 years old;
• A POST secondary diploma (AEP, DEP), college or university -or- Be in the process of obtaining a diploma -or- Have significant work experience related to a trade or profession.
• A right to work in Quebec
• An account on the PAJR electronic platform.

The Place aux Jeunes Pontiac Program is carried out with the help of a financial contribution from the Youth Secretariat and the Place aux jeunes in Region partnership.

Place aux jeunes ADO

… A service for young people aged between 14 to 18 years old, whose mission is to make them aware of the jobs available and to enlighten them in their reflection on their choice of careers. It also aims for development among them, a feeling of belonging and to show them that the region has a place for them. The enhancement of their ability to contribute to socio-economic development and entrepreneurial opportunities in the MRC Pontiac is also part of the service.
